Flower: Lemon yellow flower but with no fragrance.

Bloom Time: Late winter - February into March

Foliage: Green throughout the summer turning bright yellow to yellow-orange in fall.

Fruit: A small capsule that is not showy.

Habit: Upright vase shaped small tree with strongly ascending branches.

Size: Typically reaches 12 feet to 15 feet with a slightly narrower spread.

Sun Exposure: Full sun to part shade but blooms best in full sun.

Native Habitat: None - hybrid

Other Features: Suckers growing from the root stock should be pruned away. Deer tend to leave witchhazel alone.
