Description: Picea omorika, Serbian Spruce, makes a magnificent tree. It can grow to 100 feet given enough time. Its branch habit is similar to Norway Spruce with arching branches and branchlets hanging down below the main branches. The needles are glaucous underneath and green on top giving it a very pleasing and different effect. The needles on ‘Nana’ are the same giving a green and bluish cast to a rounded globe of a plant. It can eventually get fairly large, perhaps 8 to 10 feet, but in 10 years would more likely be approximately 30 inches by 30 inches. This is one of the best globe-shaped medium sized spruces available today.. (2 gallon - 5 years old)
