Flower: The large white flowers are fragrant and measure 8 to 12 inches across.

Bloom Time: Late spring to early summer.

Foliage: The large green leaves range from 12" up to 30" long and up to a foot wide.

Fruit: Rose to red colored fruits form after blooming ends. These are 2 to 3 inches long and egg shaped.

Habit: Upright, broadly rounded canopy. A coarse appearance due to the large leaves.

Size: 30 to 50 feet tall with a 20 foot spread.

Sun Exposure: Full sun to partial shade

Native Habitat: South-central United States

Other Features: Care must be given to soil moisture. Will not tolerate wet soils or drought.
